Step 1 - Drawing or Wood Sample:

We recommend that our clients provide us with accurate drawings, preferably in a CAD format (dxf or dwg file). In addition to CAD drawings, clients can also provide us with a wood sample by delivering their sample to us either in-person or by post (make sure to have your name on the package).

Step 2 - Design:

Once the CAD design is complete, our team uses specialized software to program the design into our grinding machines. This ensures that every profile cutter and limiter is manufactured to the highest level of accuracy.

Step 3 - Manufacture:

Our CNC machines operate around the clock, producing profile cutters daily. Once made, your cutters will be cleaned, serviced and checked by our specialist team, to ensure high-quality optimal performance before being securely packaged for delivery.

While many of our profile cutters are made from high speed steel (HSS), there are situations where HSS cutters may not be the best choice. One such limitation is the inability to effectively cut through MDF (medium-density fiberboard). MDF is a dense and abrasive material that can quickly dull HSS blades, leading to reduced performance and increased maintenance.

In contrast, TCT profile cutters offer a superior cutting solution for MDF. The tungsten carbide tip is designed to resist heat build up during the cutting process, which is particularly important when working with MDF. This results in longer blade life, reduced downtime, and improved overall performance.
